DAKIS at the Digital Summit: Innovations in Focus

Our project DAKIS was a part of the Digital Summit in Jena, represented by Frauke Geppert, Marvin Melzer, and Karoline Hemminger. At the stand of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), we presented the latest developments of the DAKIS software and the EROSPOT web app.

The visit of Federal Minister Bettina Stark-Watzinger to the BMBF stand was a special event and demonstrated the great interest in the showcased innovations. Within the framework of the market of digital possibilities, Marvin Melzer also led a workshop, where he introduced the new DAKIS image film and demonstrated the practical application of the EROSPOT app for detecting and reducing soil erosion.

Our stand provided an excellent platform to engage with a broad audience and gain valuable insights into the public perception of our work. We thank the BMBF for the opportunity to participate in the Digital Summit and the Project Management Jülich for coordinating our participation. We are very motivated to integrate the insights gained into our future work.
