The mission of the Leibniz Center for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) e. V. as a national and international research center is to research the economically, ecologically and socially sustainable agriculture of the future – together with actors from science, politics and practice. The ZALF is a member of the Leibniz Association and, in addition to the main location in Müncheberg (approx. 35 minutes by regional train from Berlin-Lichtenberg), maintains a research station with other locations in Dedelow and Paulinenaue.

The DAKIS project (Digital Knowledge & Information Systems for Agriculture) ( https://adz-dakis.com/ ) works, among other things, on the development of an impact assessment to show and evaluate the effects of digital technologies in agriculture on ecological, economic and social sustainability.

To this end, a series of stakeholder workshops (with representatives from agriculture, civil society and research) with a participatory modeling approach will be carried out.

We are looking for a temporary employee with a working time of up to 60 hours / month for 6 months

Student assistant (m / f / d)

to support the preparation and implementation of stakeholder workshops

Your tasks:

  • Support in moderating and preparing workshops
  • Implementation of correspondence and communication with stakeholders and workshop participants
  • Data and literature analysis
  • Creation of overviews, lists and documentation

Your qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in agricultural sciences, environmental sciences or a related degree
  • Experience in sustainability assessment and / or participatory methods are an advantage
  • Very good communication skills, especially in electronic communication formats
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • A high degree of self-organization and personal responsibility
  • Ability to work in a team and flexibility, willingness to familiarize yourself with new things
