DAKIS Spinn-Off EROSPOT at the Bavarian Digital Summit
The presentation of EROSPOT at the Bavarian Digital Summit was a great success! Marvin Melzer represented the project with a booth and was pleased about many enthusiastic visitors and long conversations. Interested people were able to learn about the EROSPOT Web App developed in collaboration with DAKIS. EROSPOT shows farmers exactly where their land is at the highest risk of erosion and where it would be worthwhile to create agri-environmental measures such as buffer strips.
The highlight was the visit of Digital Minister Judith Gerlach with her camera team and the press. Ms. Gerlach was enthusiastic about the app: “Please tell me immediately when the maps are available for all of Bavaria. Then I will make sure that the farmers hear about it!”.
