DAKIS at the International Green Week, Berlin
On 26 January 2023, the research project “Digital Agricultural Knowledge & Information System” (DAKIS) has contributed to the conference “AI Applications and Interoperability as the Future of Agriculture” as part of the International Green Week. With the topic “digitalization supporting decision-making toward a site-adapted multifunctional and diversified agriculture”, Dr. Cheng Chen from Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) presented the prototype of DAKIS.
The DAKIS project uses state-of-the-art technologies to integrate ecosystem services (ES) and biodiversity into modern agriculture planning processes and production. AS DAKIS is going to its 5th year, research has connected stronger with practical implementation. Following a use case approach to develop the prototype, one use case of DAKIS was demonstrated in the conference.
The discussion in the conference clearly showed synergies on digitalization with other research projects and industry partners in the field, such as “Sustainable Agriculture Using Artificial Intelligence” (NaLamKI).
